CONGRATULATIONS to the LifeSavers students who attended the Peer Influence Training Conference at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. We received high marks for participation, dedication, and attitude. 36 students attended this valuable training conference and are to be commended for their peer counseling talents in helping other students lead healthy lifestyles and making good choices. The VARSITY GIRLS’ TENNIS team defeated O’Fallon 9-0 yesterday. The Junior Varsity won 5-2. 4 seniors on the varsity tennis team will play their last home match this afternoon against Alton. CONGRATULATIONS to the VARSITY GIRLS TENNIS team for their come-from-behind win in the Southwestern Conference Tournament this weekend. The ladies edged out Edwardsville 67-66 to win the team championship. Individual tournament champions were: Kelcie Comley and Blair Hollenbeck at #1 Doubles. Kelcie Comley at #1 singles, Blair Hollenbeck at #2 singles, Anna Mernick at #3 singles and Kayleigh Thurwalker at #4 singles.   2nd Place awards went to: Anna Mernick and Anna Bullard at #2 doubles, Laura Knysak and Kayleigh Thurwalker at #3 doubles, and Laura Knysak at #5 singles. – Coach Keefe/Coach Mennerick/Coach Baltz
