The HOMECOMING DANCE is Saturday, October 1, for all West students. The dance is semi-formal (no blue jeans, t-shirts, shorts; guys are expected to wear collared shirts) and will be in the Commons from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. MISS MAROON coronation is at 9:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale for $10.00 a person in the Commons during lunch hours and in the bookstore beginning next Tuesday, September 20. The price will increase to $15 a person beginning Tuesday, September 27. All ticket sales will end Friday, September 30. No tickets will be sold at the door the night of the dance. West sophomore through senior students may bring a date from another high school or older if the date form is turned in to Mr. Woodrome by Wednesday, September 28. Date forms will be available in the bookstore beginning Wednesday, September 14, and should be completed before tickets are purchased. All West students must have their ID to be admitted and guests should bring some form of identification also. – Mr. Woodrome

If you are interested in going to Europe this summer with Mr. Witt and Mrs. Mernick-Hepp, please bring your parent or guardian to the parent meeting THIS THURSDAY, September 15th, at 7:00 p.m. to B218 (Mr. Witt’s room). This year’s trip will be visiting Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. We will be discussing the trip details/payment plans and will begin to sign students up. HISTORY ALIVE ~ Did you know there was a conspiracy behind the death of Lincoln? We will have our first movie night Wednesday after school in B215 starting at 3:35. We will be watching “The Conspirator”, a movie about Mary Surratt, who is the lone female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln. Bring $7.00 if you want to order pizza. We also will be going on our Lebanon History Tour Sunday, October 9th, 2011.  I MUST know who is going on the trip by WEDNESDAY. It is that time again! VOLLEY for a CURE t-shirts are here and are selling like hotcakes! Bring your $15.00 donation to Ms. Posey, Mr. Betz, or a WEST girls’ volleyball player to get your shirt. ATTENTION THOSE WANTING TO ORDER CLASS RINGS: Josten’s will be on campus Wednesday, September 14th, and Thursday, September 15th, during lunch hours to take class ring orders. The HOMECOMING DANCE is Saturday, October 1, for all West students. The dance is semi-formal (no blue jeans, t-shirts, shorts; guys are expected to wear collared shirts) and will be in the Commons from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. MISS MAROON coronation is at 9:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale for $10.00 a person in the Commons during lunch hours and in the bookstore beginning next Tuesday, September 20. The price will increase to $15 a person beginning Tuesday, September 27. All ticket sales will end Friday, September 30. No tickets will be sold at the door the night of the dance. West sophomore through senior students may bring a date from another high school or older if the date form is turned in to Mr. Woodrome by Wednesday, September 28. Date forms will be available in the bookstore beginning Wednesday, September 14, and should be completed before tickets are purchased. All West students must have their ID to be admitted and guests should bring some form of identification also. – Mr. Woodrome

 

EUROPE PARENT MEETING! If you are interested in going to Europe this summer with Mr. Witt and Mrs. Mernick-Hepp, please bring your parent or guardian to the parent meeting THIS THURSDAY, September 15th, at 7:00 p.m. to B218 (Mr. Witt’s room). This year’s trip will be visiting Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. We will be discussing the trip details/payment plans and will begin to sign students up. HISTORY ALIVE ~ Did you know there was a conspiracy behind the death of Lincoln? We will have our first movie night Wednesday after school in B215 starting at 3:35. We will be watching “The Conspirator”, a movie about Mary Surratt, who is the lone female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln. Bring $7.00 if you want to order pizza. We also will be going on our Lebanon History Tour Sunday, October 9th, 2011.  I MUST know who is going on the trip by TODAY - WEDNESDAY. It is that time again! VOLLEY for a CURE t-shirts are here and are selling like hotcakes! Bring your $15.00 donation to Ms. Posey, Mr. Betz, or a WEST girls’ volleyball player to get your shirt. You will be able to wear your shirts to school on Friday, September 23rd, and also, wearing it to the volleyball match at East that evening will get you into the match for free.
