Tutoring

Every teacher in the mathematics department is willing to provide their students with extra help in one of two ways.

1.) Additional help before or after school. Most of the time a teacher is available before school, but there are days when they are busy due to meetings or extra-curricular activities. It would be best if the student verified what time he/she could meet for assistance.

2.) A student may use the universal tutoring service in the library, free of charge, during their study hall or extended lunch period. If a student feels they need extra help, they need to ask their teacher for a pass to the tutoring. A pass can be written for one day or an entire week. A student may attend as many weeks as necessary. They are to sign in when they arrive and stay the entire period. Tutors are honors students overseen by a mathematics teacher on staff.

3.) Students can attend After School tutoring on full schools days Monday - Thursday in the library. Students need to ask their teachers for a pass. Tutoring lasts from 3:30-4:30, but students may leave at any time.
