Spring Spirit Week! Celebrate Spring by dressing up for our Spirit Week March 20-23rd. The dress up days are:

Thursday: Disco Day
No School Friday
Cap off your week by attending the Mr. Lancer Pageant Saturday, March 25th in the PAC. Tickets are $5 if before the event or $7 at the door. Find a Mr. Lancer contestant to purchase your ticket now! It's a night you don't want to miss!
Daily Grind- How about a FREE Krispy Kreme donut for St. Pat's Day at The Daily Grind? For every paying customer that wears green this Friday, they get a free donut. Get to The Daily Grind early to get your free Krispy Kreme donut before they run out. Happy St. Pat's Day!
Prom will be here before you know it! The counseling center's dress closet has hundreds of beautiful new and gently used dresses in all sizes. All dresses and formal wear are absolutely free. Juniors and Seniors- Join us Under the Big Top this year for Prom. Prom is May 6th on Central Terrace. Tickets are now on sale in I206 from 8:15-8:25 and in I200 from 3:25-3:35. Tickets are $40 per person. Guest forms are available in the bookstore. Last day to get your ticket is April 18.

Going to the CAVE next year for a class? Students need to submit an application no later than March 30, 2023.

The Belleville East Faculty Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for the 2023 Faculty Scholarships and the Zaring Trust Scholarships for seniors at Belleville East who will attend a University, College or Vocational School next fall. Read for a Lifetime - We are a month away from the end of the Read for a Lifetime 2023 program. If you have already finished your four books, you may submit your reading record here.

BE Library - March Madness Contest - What is the most popular book in the East library? We'll be finding out through our March Madness competition! Print out this bracket, or see your English teacher or library staff member to get one. Pick your winners and submit your bracket to the library by 3:30 on March 2. Starting March 3 you'll be able to vote between the top 16 checked out books. Participants will earn points for each book winner correctly selected. If no perfect brackets exist, winners will be selected by highest point totals. See Mrs. Byrne with any questions.
Ready for the ultimate reading challenge? The BE Library divides our fiction books into eight genres. Explore those genres by reading one book from each genre throughout the 2022-23 school year. Registeredstudents who complete the challenge of reading the eight books by May 1, 2023 will receive the following: a free book and an invite to the library's Readers Celebration party. One lucky student will also win a pair of brand new Apple AirPods Pro! Want a chance to win Daily Grind dollars too? Read along with the library with our genre of the month! The Library still requires passes for students to visit during their lunch or study hall periods. Pass requests must be submitted on our form before 9:30 am on the day you want to visit.
