Juniors who registered to take the PSAT: A reminder that the PSAT/NMSQT test is Tuesday, January 26th. Please report to the Library by 8:20a.m. This is a B Day in our hybrid schedule, so A Day and Remote students need to make transportation arrangements to and from campus. The test should end around 12:30p.m. An email with more information will be coming soon.  


The library will be closed from before school through 5th hour on January 26 for PSAT testing. Please plan accordingly.



January 25-29 is National News Literacy week! This week celebrates the necessary skill of evaluating and understanding the news media we consume and share. Take a quiz to see how sharp your skills about evaluating which info you share online!  We'll be providing more resources throughout the week!


JROTC - Great news!  Our guests are the U.S. Army.  We will be doing Physical Training outside weather permitting.   Bring something comfortable to wear and a water bottle.  You will be doing sit ups, push ups, etc and we will record your personal best.  We will also talk about what it takes to be ready for the Army boot camp.  Open to all District 201 students.  All safety protocols will be followed.  Questions?  Email Mrs. Belline This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Grade 9-11 Yearbook Photos: Did you miss the November yearbook photo dates, or do you want photo retakes? If so, Lifetouch will be in the gym lobby on January 28th from 10:30-1:30 and 3:30 -4:30 (remote students only). They will also be in the gym lobby on January 29th from 10:30-1:30. Juniors --Don't forget the deadline to apply for next year's CEO class is coming up!

The deadline to complete the application will be Friday, March 6. You can complete the on-line application by going to the Belleville CEO website, www.bellevilleceo.com and clicking “Apply Now” blue button at the top of the page. Fill in your cell phone number and click “Next.” You will receive a text message with a verification code to start your application. Applications can be completed from your phone or on a computer.

Grow Your Own Initiative

Sophomores and Juniors interested in becoming teachers.  You have a new course opportunity next year that will earn you college credit from Saint Louis University and get you a little hands on field experience.


For the 21-22 school year, we invite rising juniors through seniors who are interested in becoming teachers to sign up for the dual credit class EDF 2240 which will be offered at the high school by a Belleville District #201 teacher.

STEM 201

This semester, we are presenting students interested in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine with the opportunity to listen to and learn from professionals in various fields. Every Saturday, starting January 9, there will be two sessions, each one hour long, beginning at 10 am. Students can choose to come to as many sessions as they would like. Student Wellness Check In:

Students will need to follow the steps below in order to complete the wellness check in prior to arriving on campus each day of physical attendance.You do not need to complete the wellness check in on days you are not coming into the school.

Virtual tutoring The link to Virtual Tutoring is located on all students' Clever.com page. Teachers are here to help you. Please use this valuable resource as often as you need. Simply look at the schedule for each subject area (Math, English, Social Studies, Science) and click on the teacher's name at the appropriate time.


Students, this is a reminder that  Belleville East is a CLOSED campus, this means you are NOTallowed to go to the parking lot OR leave campus at any time during the school day without permission from the administration.  Consequences will be issued for doing so.
