BTHS EAST Student Announcements for January 15, 2021

This is a reminder that Belleville Township High Schools return to in-person instruction in the hybrid A/B format.

Students in the B group will report on Friday, January 15.  

(Group B - Group B consists of students with last names beginning with the letters L - Z)


Student Wellness Check In:

Students will need to follow the steps below in order to complete the wellness check in prior to arriving on campus each day of physical attendance.You do not need to complete the wellness check in on days you are not coming into the school.

Students, this is a reminder that Belleville East is a CLOSED campus, this means you are NOT allowed to go to the parking lot OR leave campus at any time during the school day without permission from the administration.  Consequences will be issued for doing so.


Seniors: TODAY IS THE DEADLINE. Please see the yearbook senior photo email regarding your senior photo proof, senior yearbook baby recognition ads, yearbook orders, the yearbook senior survey, and photo submissions. The last day to make changes to your senior photos is TODAY, and no refunds will be given for errors. Virtual tutoring is back in session starting Monday. The link to Virtual Tutoring is located on all students' Clever.com page. Teachers are here to help you. Please use this valuable resource as often as you need. Simply look at the schedule for each subject area (Math, English, Social Studies, Science) and click on the teacher's name at the appropriate time.

Attention Juniors: If you are one of the 36 students who signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT test, the Student Guides are in.  You may pick one up from the Counseling Office secretary.  The Student Guides contain test-taking advice and tips and an official practice test.  You must have your Student ID and can only pick up one. 


Grow Your Own Initiative

Sophomores and Juniors interested in becoming teachers.  You have a new course opportunity next year that will earn you college credit from Saint Louis University and get you a little hands on field experience.


For the 21-22 school year, we invite rising juniors through seniors who are interested in becoming teachers to sign up for the dual credit class EDF 2240 which will be offered at the high school by a Belleville District #201 teacher.


To sign up for the class or to get more information, please complete this Google Form or talk to your counselor today.

STEM 201

This semester, we are presenting students interested in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine with the opportunity to listen to and learn from professionals in various fields. Every Saturday, starting January 9, there will be two sessions, each one hour long, beginning at 10 am. Students can choose to come to as many sessions as they would like.
