NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  

STUDENTS INTERESTED IN SUMMER DRIVER’S EDUCATION: Summer driver’s ed forms will be available next Monday, March 13, in the Counseling Center and Main Office. Registration dates are on the form. ~Mr. Geluck

  

FIRST PRIORITY:  First Priority will meet on Tuesday, at 7:50 AM in D-205. Each week, throughout the year, a student will lead discussion as we grow in our Christian journey. We welcome everyone. Donuts provided.

  

FROM THE COUNSELING OFFICE:

  

SENIORS:  Please stop by the Counseling Center to sign up to meet with our ISAC Rep, get information about FAFSA, college applications, career exploration and scholarship's, please take advantage of your resources!

  

SENIORS:  Are you planning on teaching high school as a career? If so, Belleville Federation of Teachers Local 434 is awarding 2 seniors in District #201 with a $1000 scholarship to help cover college expenses. It could be you! Apply by March 31 at BellevilleFederationofTeachers.org  

  

SENIORS: Be sure to check the Scholarship Bulletin for the various scholarships that are available only to Lancers! Applications are due at the end of this month. For more information, check your email or go to the Counseling Office.

  

SENIORS:  Please view the following link to apply for the 2020 Belleville East Faculty Scholarship. Scholarship applications are due by March 30 at 3:30 PM, to Mr. Wilder in the Guidance Office in B building. To type on the application, please make a copy of it into your own Google Drive. Should you have questions, please see Mrs. Kloever in F-303.

PROM:  Prom season is here! The counseling center's dress closet has hundreds of beautiful new and gently used dresses in all sizes and styles. We even have some men's formal wear. All dresses and formal wear are provided at no cost to students. If you are in need of a dress for prom, come by the counseling office and fill out a request form, located next to Mrs. Koonce's desk, so we can help you find that perfect outfit for prom! LANCERS:  Student Council will be collecting items through the month of March to create care packages for our deployed troops. We are asking that you donate in a small way to make our troops more comfortable while they are serving our country. Below is a list of items that would help us create the care packages for our service men and women.

FRESHMEN: ENERGY BARS OR SMALL BAGS OF TRAIL MIX 

SOPHOMORES: BABY WIPES OR DECK OF CARDS 

JUNIORS: RAMEN OR NON- CHOCOLATE CANDY 

SENIORS: SOCKS OR CROSSWORD PUZZLES  

You can drop off your items in F Building, Q Building, or in the Cafeteria. These boxes will be out and visible during Parent Teacher Conferences as well. Feel free to remind your parents to support our cause. 

  

NEW EHS MEMBERS:   Our induction ceremony will be April 28, at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. New members should plan on bringing a dish to share. Please share this information with your parents as invitations are not mailed out. Thank you!   Ms Lillard, Ms Zapp, and Mrs Hayes

  

PROM TICKETS:  Junior and Seniors: Prom is May 2. Prom tickets are on sale now through April 21. Tickets are $45 each and include your after prom ticket. You can buy tickets everyday from 8:15-8:25 AM & 3:25-3:35 PM in I-200.

  

MR. LANCER PAGEANT: Everyone! Mark your calendars for the 22nd annual Mr. Lancer Pageant. This year's pageant will be held Saturday, March 21, at 7:00 PM in the PAC. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from one of the contestants or at the door. Don't miss this entertaining and exciting annual event! Who will be crowned "Mr. Lancer 2020"?
